So, long story short: you should ask for a refund xDĮl dic. Who knows, maybe those fancyĬamouflage ones they sell are actually original, or they offer a dualshockĤ (I can dream hehe :P ) (seriously, I'll most likely get refunded) Instantly offered "a replacement or a refund".
Original), mentioned that seemed to not be the case and I was almost If you want to know more about the inner workings of the Scp Bluetooth stack don't hesitate to not nefarius but you should.
That's where the software is currently stuck. The PANHAIs just don't send the 3rd connection request for the HID Service channel which the originals do just fine. What I've discovered so far is, that the actual pairing (sadly people misuse this term all the time the flashing LEDs do not necessarily indicate a pairing problem) works fine, it's the L2CAP connections which fail after responding to a connection and configuration request. The Logs the toolkit produces won't help much since the inner workings of the protocols involved aren't logged it would add too much of an overhead. I don't have much time either since I'd like to focus on development rather than reverse engineering. Since my knowledge of the whole Bluetooth specification (if I recall correctly, v4 has nearly a 1000 pages.) is very limited I wasn't yet able to decipher those dumps. I managed to tap into the communication between the Bluetooth controller chip and the micro controller (they communicate via UART thankfully) and actually could dump the streams they exchange when connecting to a genuine Sony PlayStation 3. so my problem is "solved" i guess.I got some different "breeds" of those PANHAIs donated a few month ago and had them disassembled.
any advice?ĮDIT: well i just kept trying to make it work by uninstalling/reinstalling the xbox driver and scp toolkit and for whatever reason it actually WORKED this time even though i'm pretty sure i did the exact same thing like 4 times previously. my setup was working just fine, so logically there has to be a way to make it work again. I dont want to use motioninjoy because it sucks and i don't want to buy any more hardware because i'm broke. In the "game controllers" menu in the control panel, it is recognized as a PS3 controller, but again, none of its input is recognized, and i think it's supposed to be recognized as a 360 controller anyways because of scp.
I tried uninstalling and then re-installing the xbox drivers AND scp, i tried plugging it into my ps3 and then disconnecting it via the on-screen menu, and i tried uninstalling +reinstalling the ps3 controller driver in device manager (under "human interference devices -> HID-compliant game controller"), but none of it has made a difference. not a single program will recognize any input from the controller anymore. (before, when it was working, one single light was on solid). Then the other day, for seemingly no reason, when i plugged in my controller to my PC, the 4 red lights on the controller started flashing and kept flashing. I had my PS3 controller working perfectly fine for a couple weeks on my PC (using SCP Toolkit, xbox 360 controller drivers, and a wired USB connection) playing steam games and gamecube games via dolphin.
